Born and educated in Washington, D.C., Beverly is now a creative writer and artist in Los Angeles, California.  Sojourn to Healthy Eating: Tasty Alkaline & Vegetarian Recipes is her third book.  Her interests include photography, fine & performing arts, music, including jazz, public affairs and hiking.  Her favorite recipes in Sojourn to Healthy Eating?  The smoothies, chickpeas & onions, cashew parmesan cheese, savory breakfast sausage, just to name a few.
